PugFair 2010 is coming up quickly and there is lots of work to be done. Please help us make PugFair 2010 the best one yet!!! Please help us with any of the following!!

PugFair Retail Supporters for our Sponsor Bags

We are having Sponsor bags to give to each the first 200 families who attend Pugfair 2010. It will be stuffed with goodies from businesses,
menu's coupons, samples – you choose what you would like to advertise with. For a small fee of $ 35.00 to advertise and 200 of the items,
PugFair Committee will stuff the bags to be given out at PugFair! What an inexpensive way to advertise your business!!!
Any business is welcome: retail or online store, home party dog or not-dog realated! If you or anyone you know who would like to advertise in our bags,
please call Debbie Tolle (513-351-2550) or Judi Pepin (513-398-6526) or email our website pugfaircommittee@pugfair.org.

Craft and Merchandise Vendors and Sponsors for Pugfair

Given the state of the economy we are reducing our fee structure to a donation of $50 for craft and merchandise retail vendors and $100 for Event Sponsors.
Last year we estimated more than 1000 attendees during PugFair 2009. Please help us make PugFair 2010 even more successful. Remember, all monies go to Ohio Pug Rescue!!

Raffle Gifts

In order to have a successful raffle and bid-and-buy we need great gifts to be donated. We already have 2 tickets to Kings Island,
a pug print from our supporter Melissa Langer of Pug Notes, a custom-made appliquéd pug sweatshirt and some gift baskets! Please help us and donate a fabulous gift!! Contact Debbie Tolle (513-351-2550) or Judi Pepin (513-398-6526) or email our website pugfaircommittee@pugfair.org.

Volunteers

We can only have a successful event if we have many volunteers “many hands make light work!!” The more volunteers we have,
the more time we can all have free to have fun at PugFair!

  • Kissing Booth: We need a chairperson and outgoing volunteers to get people to the booth and make a donation to “kiss the pug”!!
  • Bid-and-Buy Booth: We need to help set up the booth in the morning before PugFair and volunteers to watch the sheets and make sure everyone knows the way it works.
  • Cincinnati Meet-up Booth:We need volunteers just be there to help with anything needed.
  • Raffle Booth: We need help to set up the booth in the morning and, most importantly, several volunteers to circulate among the crowd and sell raffle tickets during the event.
  • Cincinnati Meet-up Booth: we need volunteers just be there to help with anything needed.
  • Registration: We have volunteers who will work the front gate but we need back ups for this important job just in case they are called out of town. This job is to sit at the front, take donations (there is no charge for PugFair, but donations will be gratefully accepted at entry), and ask people to sign and register for a door prize and so we have emails to send out for future events.
  • Children’s games and Doggie Olympics: We have a chairperson but will need volunteers to help with the activities and the kids and doggies games throughout the day
  • Pug Parade and Registration: Chairperson and volunteers needed. Chairperson will create registration forms and solicit owners to register their dogs for the parade, collect the $5.00 registration fee, hand out numbers for each registratn and take down the winners' number after judges vote. The chairperson will also assist the judges with the categories, tallying the votes and announcing the winners at the end. Debbie Tolle will cover getting the judges unless you know of any “celebrity” or “officials” who would be willing to come out to PugFair and judge the costume entries. Award ribbons have already been purchased.
  • PugFair Set-up: We need some men to assist us with putting up fencing, awnings, carrying items to booth, and getting chairs and tables from the fire dept. in Newtonsville for the music, putting out signs etc. the morning of the event (starting 8 am). Our event is getting larger with more work and fewer volunteers. Please help!!! All of this is done before the event, so these volunteers can have the rest of the day to enjoy and we won't be so overwhelmed trying to do it all.

We hope this website provides you with all the details and information that you need. Please explore all pages of the website to find out more about this event and past events.
